Breathe - Seven Channels makes me cry (especially the acoustic version)
Counting Crows - Round Here
Good Charlotte - Hold On
Our Lady Peace - Are You Sad? and Life get me all emotional
The Calling - Could it Be Any Harder
U2 - Walk On
Papa Roach - Last Resort and Black Clouds
Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out

I wouldn't consider some of those songs 'some of the saddest ever written' but for me personally those particular songs have a lot of emotional meaning behind them for me

Uhm, I don't usually cry to a song, but basically any song associated with a girl I've loved or some special time gets me upset. So, basically every song ever written.... maybe that's why I'm depressed most of the time haha

agreed songs dont make me cry all that much...some make me enraged or perhaps upset but not to the point of crying.

if i had to pick some of the more moving songs i would say:

OLP- Car Crash (very dramatic)
Bright Eyes- Everything is so moving but I would say "Dont Know when but a day is going to come"

lots more just depends on the moment

I don't cry when listening to music, I get extremely angry. Anything by Alkaline Trio, like Enjoy Your Day, Sorry About That, and For Your Lungs Only really bring out a bunch of supressed depression and makes it into extreme anger. I've stopped listening to For Your Lungs Only because I recently punched a hole into my bookshelf because it was getting to me.

Wow... that's a good one. I'll go alphabetically, as usual:

Aerosmith - Dream On
Blink-182 - Adam's Song (was a single when I was going through the worst period of my life)
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven (good call, Melissa)
John Lennon - Imagine (I think this one gets the "ever written" title)
Live - Overcome (I think this one probably effects a lot of us, considering it was practically made the "theme song" of September 11th by the media... gorgeous song, even without that association)
Oasis - Idler's Dream (if you guys haven't heard this song, download it NOW)
Oasis - Talk Tonight
Our Lady Peace - Are You Sad?
Our Lady Peace - In Repair (this one got me REALLY bad when I was sitting with my mom in the hospital watching my dad lie in a hospital bed, heavily sedated, with a tube down his throat... listening to Spiritual Machines when you're in that kind of situation is... profound)
Our Lady Peace - Life
Our Lady Peace - Thief (I can't believe I'm the first to say that one )
Our Lady Peace - Waited (killed me when me and my boyfriend were having problems, and I was waiting for him to come over... then he never showed up)
Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever (R.I.P. Freddie Mercury )
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
Reef - Consideration (check this song out... beautiful vocals)
REM - Everybody Hurts
Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
Robbie Williams - Angels
Sarah McLachlan - I Will Remember You
Silverchair - Emotion Sickness (this song actually saved my life because I could relate to the lyrics so much... well, my interpretation of the lyrics, anyway)
Silverchair - Miss You Love
Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water
The Beatles - Let It Be
The Beatles - Yesterday
The Pretenders - I'll Stand By You
U2 - One

God, there's so many more... music impacts my emotions so much... I could probably go on for days listing songs, but I won't.

the only music that ever makes me actually shed tears is some jazz and classical.

classical music is just wonderful.

It can be ^ I hate the "angry" classical though, its mindboggling how evil that stuff can sound.

Music doesn't make my cry much but when it does its cool
