Now, this looks like a legit announcement! The official schedule gets announced later on, so not sure what day OLP are playing. SO glad to hear there will be at least this Summer show!

Colwood is near Victoria, on Vancouver Island, for those wondering :)

Peace,
Matt

That announcement brings some much needed relief!

I'd expect to see summer festival dates pop up over the next 2 months, as per the norm. I might be enticed to go see them at a festival since it's been 2 years that I last saw them.

Short for: don't even bring that up!

I'm happy assuming that everything with the band is totally fine and that they will never have replacement members.

Well, I understood that much, but I wasn't aware that there was any sort of rumor or hint that any of the band members were taking a break.

A few weeks ago, OLP posted a link on Facebook to an article/interview that referred to Raine as the "former" singer of Our Lady Peace. Everyone went berserk and the article was instantly taken down. The band's Wikipedia page was even changed to say he was no longer with the band. It's all been rectified since but I think that gave people quite a scare.

I think that's what faninor was referring to. I hope there aren't any more rumours out there that would suggest someone is leaving the band.

Oh wow, I completely missed all that. last I heard was he and his wife were collaborating. Thanks for the info.

Anyhow, I'm hoping some folks film this concert... as my guts are telling me they might play a new song... what, with the album being recorded and moving on to the production phase.

I'm planning to go so I'll be sure to record anything new and exciting if I can get close enough to make a decent video. :duncan:

Oh, my comment was 100% tongue in cheek, just playing off the nonsense breakup rumors from when they indefinitely postponed the Naveed 20th anniversary Town Hall tour.

I think if Raine were actually the former singer of OLP, we would have heard from a more reliable source than an interview no one's read :P

Having wifi issues, so can't upload the photo I took, but here goes:

Rabbits
Superman 's Dead
One Man Army
Innocent
Paper Moon
Clumsy- w/Never knew you outtro
Angels Losing Sleep
Summertime Sadness (great freakin cover !)
Monkey Brains
Automatic Flowers
Is Anybody Home?
In Repair w/ RK intro - tagged with A bit of Life and Try Honesty (Billy Talent?) at the end
Somewhere Out There
Heavyweight
( did not leave stage for encore, but crowd went nuts!)
4am
Won't Turn Back
Starseed

Band was full of energy, as was the crowd singing along. Robin's keys add so much to the live performance. Jason played his ass off on drums & sounded great. Whole band was just on. Great night! Very tired.
