Is it possible, seriously, to just NOT have sex for a really long period of time.....and consider yourself a born-again virgin?

I wanna know....

Well, as far as I know, "virgin" is kind of an all-or-nothing concept. You've either never had sex or you have, I don't think there's really a ... reset button.

Are you talking just generally or are you looking for a moral/religious perspective?

Well......both. I'm looking for perspectives.

Well, generally speaking, I don't think you can become a virgin again by not having sex for a while, because, having had sex in the past (no matter how long past) means you're not a virgin, by virtue of the definition alone.

I think the same probably applies in a religious perspective, too. If God says that you must be a virgin until you're married, I really doubt there's a loophole that says something like "well, as long as you don't have sex for 5 years before marriage, you're good". There's always absolution for the Catholic crowd... haha

 mmkay....I'm seeing your points as completely valid, Rob.

Now...I hope to find somebody who sees this differently. I wanna see reasonings. haha.

People who think because they accept salvation from God, or whatever religion they may choose from, or no religion at all, and say they are now virgin again are fooling themselves. Like Robbo said, all or nothing. You can't erase the past.

Didn't they do that on an episode of King of the Hill?
