actually, my ulterior motive for this thread is just to tell people that my brother and i just bought zelda: twilight princess for gamecube

No thanks. I deal with enough of this bullshit at work. I swear to god, if another person gives me an attitude over the possibility that we could be sold out of the Wii on DECEMBER FUCKING 23rd, I am going to curb stomp someone. Seriously, I hate every single person alive right now.

..I'm getting FFXII for Christmas.

I haven't beaten FFXII and I got it the day it came out. Not enough story.

Me either. But I just can't get a handle on the gameplay. I like the FF games because of their battle system and the fact that I don't have to use both analog sticks at the same time. I'm not coordinated and I'm not good at real-time attack games. So I'm kind of annoyed by the fact that they made it half-and-half where you have to choose an action but then wait for your character to get to the point where they can make the action, all the while you're taking damage because you can't defend yourself!

Stupid battle system. I want my turn-based system back! I can't get past the first time in the desert because I just can't get a handle on the battle system.

i want a wiiiiiiii.

but i don't have time, i have responsibilities. and insufficient funding.

i'll stick to minesweeper

i'm waiting til i get back to toronto in the new year to get my wii, because i don't want the hassle of taking it on a plane.

I love the Wii......and I'll have "Twiilight Princess" tomorrow, under the tree. I'm friggen stoked.

Wii Sports, although simplistic, is sooooooooooo much fun!

On that note; I'm probably the only Xbox360 owner that has not played "Gears of War" yet. haha!

i have a feeling that this is where lando will make an entrance...i think by now he must have a mental sensor that alerts him to the mention of that game

I mean, interesting concept, but I want to sit down and chill when I play games, not flail around like a wiitard.

sweet! i'm scoring all kinds of Wii connections.

So, FFXII is freaking awesome.

The graphics are amazing for a PS2 game and I <3 the battle system. Fast-paced and more intense without being completely chaotic. It's kinda like KOTOR's battle system, only better.
