Billy Talent IS really! However, the best Canadian band would have to be F11. There are lots of others who come close, but F11 consistently blows my mind.

Do they have to all be rock bands? I like Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Simple Plan, Sam Roberts, and Matt Good.

Weren't there a couple of '80s bands from Canada that at least had knocked out 1 or 2 decent hits in the U.S.????

Bryan Adams had a band behind him.......does he count?
What about Fozzy, nobody montioned Fozzy I don't think.

"Rush", "BTO" and "The guess who" all did well, but i'm not really a fan of any of them, although Rush has my respect, and TGW are kinda legendary.

Fozzy the muppet? or is there some mysterious fozzy that i don't know about? if you are talking about fozzy the muppet, then yes, his music was great. along with kermit the frog. but, are they canadian?

I saw Billy Talent open for Sum 41 and thought it would be less painful to smash my head through a plate glass window than listen to them. :) However, their new song on Much is kinda catchy so maybe I'll give them another shot.
