I'm sure it'll be good Jen
I'm arriving in Vancouver on the 1st, leaving on the 4th (probably earlyish) so I propose meeting on Saturday (the 3rd). Someone who knows Vancouver better than me should decide where!
I'm not sure how my friend James will deal with this meeting random people from the internet thing but who cares??

For this so-far nonexistant vancouver meet up, me and soozy and sonya brainstormed some ideas about what to do for the day. truthfully theres nothing that special about vancouver but i guess we can do a random assortment of things.... maybe?
sooz is staying @ downtown somewhere, and i think she'd like to have our meetup around her hotel.
ideas:
- granville island
- pacific centre in downtown
- stanley park
- metrotown (burnaby)
- science world
- the pne
- vancouver aquarium
- random stores on robson
- kitsilano/jericho beach
- imax (in canada place, i think)
... yeah
i dont know if i could make it if we did something like the Capilano suspension bridge. haha.
add ideas.
EDIT: personally i'd love to take sooz to granville island (maybe in addition to something) cause shes never been there plus its amazing and kids market rules

I practically just got back from Vancouver. My god your city is so beautiful - what a great place to go.

Vancouver doesn't really have anything cool or unique that otehr cities don't have, it's jsut really pretty and has a great atmosphere. It's almost better to live there than be a tourist there. Well, it is. But, we can just take her around like she livse there. Go see whatever we can walk/bus to. It'd be much fun.

-instead of metrotown, if it's downtown, i'd recommend pacific center
-also you can walk along granville (ie. by broadway and such) though its expensive street there
-head out to UBC
-walk along West 4th avenue is pretty cool, along broadway's sweet too
-trail's in north van/capilano are pretty nice; suspension bridge's a good call
-for ethnicity, old chinatown's cool but sketchy; richmond's alright, i believe main and 33rd has mostly punjabi/sikh indian stuff there

yeah i suggested West 4th earlier, thanks for reminding me
it has sweet restaurants but very expensive shops haha
but we can all go to zulu records
Chinatown is sketchy...
i dont know, i havent been there for years.
and i mentioned pacific centre already
oh yeah little India.. around main street
also granville has lots of Art Galleries if anyone other than me is into them, hehe.

Booooo, well, hmmmmmm. We need more OLP fans from Vancouver! I could bring my random friend Kevin who looks like Jeremy Taggart. That might be kind of amusing.

My birthday is a month before Jeremy's, on the same day. No significance, I just happen to remember his birthday because of it (and I suck at birthdays, I didn't know what my mom's was up until two years ago).
The look a like is very cool and entertaining, he's a monkey. Dance monkey, dance!

I remember Jer's birthday cos it's 2 days before mine.
Anyway, carry on.
