I definitely liked Mariah Carey when I was younger..... but that was before she SUUUUUUUCKED.

Smashing Pumpkins sure didn't take very long for a "reunion". I'm sure some bands that never split up to begin with have taken longer between doing stuff.

I HATE mariah carey. like beyond normal dislike of her music. she is the one artist that i would rather shoot myself in the foot rather than listen to. even britney spears i can sing along to, and i'm sure i've listened to a jessica simpson once in my life, but mariah? just no.

Nope. That voice. Is so painful, no matter what it's singing.

Now she's a huge whore, but that just kind of adds to the effect.

As for Machina sucking. I didn't think it was that bad, but if it's anyone fault it was Billy's. He seemed to want that diffrent sound.

Yeah, I have no problem with her. It's just the fact that I think D'arcy had a really really big part in the creative decision-making, and in preventing Billy from doing crazy things. Like Machina. Which is why I just don't think it's the Pumpkins without D'arcy.

I should of gone last year.. Just to see Peter Murphy hang upside down while Bauhaus did Bela Lugosi's Dead. Esp since they didn't do that song when I saw them in November
