Clumsy/Spiritual Machines Tour

Today was the sale for montreal shows.... bought the tickets and I was really stressed to get the tix so as soon as I got them I left to go to work. After working, I've checked the tickets to see that the lady (with the incredibly long fingernails) didn't sell me tickets for both of the shows but for the same show even though I,ve specified it several times while waiting for 12 oclock. Result? Gotta go back there , get a refund and I had to buy my tickets from the phone and instead of having my tickets in row 'f' like it was supposed to I am now in the 'p' section.

Careful when you get the two evening tickets and if you see a lady with long fingernails, please avoid her at all costs.

there is this woman with really long fingernails that curve over that shops at my store. it freaks me out!

This is why I always buy them online.

Except in this case the presale tickets were actually worse seats than the general sale, so I ended up buying twice, and now have to find buyers for some extra tickets!

But normally online works, for Regina. Small enough city that shows won't sell out too quick. I was on 1 min into the sale for Matt Good tickets for Saskatoon, and got front row, so that was cool.

Anyone else see Matt Good on his tour right now? Pretty nice.

is there an error that comes up when you try to? your image has to be a .gif or jpeg with 80 x 80 pixels, and smaller than 10 kb. if you have a bigger avatar, you can upload it elsewhere and then link it to here

It's exactly 80x80, and is 4kb. I'll make it 79x79 and see what happens.

I heard a rumor that OLP would be playing two albums across Canada in 2010. The Full albums!!!

I hope they play Clumsy and Spiritual Machines!!!

Geeeeez....I only found out about this tour Friday evening, because I still keep in touch with someone who used to post here.

This freaking awesome news! Spiritual Machines was the first OLP record I ever bought (and probably my favourite ever made), but that happened after the SM tour...so I'm psyched that I get to hear this album live from beginning to end!

Is Edmonton the only city with general admission? I also noticed we're not being offered VIP...not that it matters much, since regular tickets are GA and I've met half the band already and have gotten to have a good, long conversation with one of the guys..but just wondering.

Also, a big fat WORD to whoever said that everyone needs to stop bitching about the price of the VIP tix. Gah...I'm just so thankful that the band is willing to go backwards (arguably, forwards...however you want to look at it!) and resurrect brilliant songs that they haven't played in ages or that we've heard only on record. If they played some non-singles from Happiness (ie. Annie, Blister, Potato Girl, Stealing Babies, etc.)...my life would be complete.

Hi there! On the 2005/2006 tour they did play some Happiness non-singles (Potato Girl and Waited)... so there is a chance!

I think VIP tickets were being offered for Edmonton originally, and they came with front-of-line access. Maybe they have sold out or something? I noticed the Clumsy night of Victoria did not have any VIP tickets available yesterday so they may be starting to sell out.

They're playing Edmonton Events Center, and that venue only really has standing room, and then on the balconies there are a few chairs set up around tables, in a very coffee-shop manner. When I was at EEC, the sound sucked, and one of the barriers wasn't secured to the floor, so the security had to put a lot of manpower to holding the barrier in place, so crazies didn't rush the stage.
