well we open presents xmas eve...
i got a new laptop!! it's a xmas/birthday/grad present. a dell inspiron 5160. i'm happy it came with a free printer. so i have a printer too...yay!!!!!!
then my aunt and uncle bought me a book on canadian politics, a friend got me rousseau's the social contract, i got lots of killer socks, and a guy from work who i've become good friends with lately gave me a cd with a bunch of his music on, which is just awesome.
but the gift that made me homesick? a friend sent me a scrapbook that she put together. it had a bunch of old pictures and lots of good memories. ahh...sometimes it's the littlest things that mean the mostest.

So far I've gotten a Whitman's Sampler box of chocolates from my mommy, a $50 gift card to DEB from Monkey (:mrgreen:), and a candle from my mommy's friend who I've known my whole life.

I got 3 gift cards- EB games, future shop, and Chapters.
I got a copy of Paga Ultima 8 from my brother (i love old games), but i can't get it to work on my comp or with DOSBox.
I got a 12 string acoustic from my parents, but they said I could trade it in for a new electric if I wanted to, which I think I might. I just dunno what kind of electric to get.

i got a digital camera, a watch, a phone for my room (my old one won't work), some pajama pants and iTunes card and some stuff for my camera. oh AND it's weird that you guys are talking about this but i got outlet converters for Europe (because i'm going there in may). freeeeaky.
oh and i got a set of luggage from my dad. and $150 from my grandparents.

i just got myself a really adorable pink hat necklace, which is sooooo cute (
), $50 gift certificate from Virgin ( :O ... but that's not much, actually, considering Virgin is pretty fucking expensive), and 2 free movie tickets.

I really don't know if it's all that great, since I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it's got a shit ton of effects and a pedal, and it can play up to nine of its effects at once, so I'm pleased.
