Woo hoo! What an awesome show! Best birthday present ever..........along with my car. Without my car, I would never have made it to half the OLP shows I've been to in the past two years

The sound and atmosphere was great. I couldn't believe there was no barrier up though, I've never been to a show without a barrier. I thought the security were awesome, the best I've ever run into. Acoustic kicks ass. My only complain is that they took SD out, and that they had a curfew.

Still tired though............

I'm still all excited to reclaim mine. With any bit of luck, they'll be half-ass decent! 8-)

And the security was wha??? I dunno about that dude. They were pretty pushy and condecending, if you ask me. Were you there when they were trying to shuffle Jeremy away from a perfectly tame fan meet after the show? I mean, it's not like we could have done anything, we were on opposite sides of a cast iron fence, and they had the gates blocked. It was a bit harsh. And they were bouncing people back - almost literally - from contacting Steve, and vice versa. The AC security was ~much~ cooler if you ask me. (And the Hammerstein security, who I still am indebted to for even seeing the show!!!)

P.S. I think I'm gonna just stay logged in to the AIM verson of the CM chat. Maybe I'll actualy catch someone there once. ^_~*

Hey Rob 1! Yeah I don't know who Rob 2 is or what happened to him, but if he posts on this board then I'm sure we'll figure it out sometime soon

Yeah I have to agree that the security were dicks, both to the fans, and to the band. I understand that they need to get people out of the venue, that is not unlike any other concert I have been too. But when they physically start manhandling and pushing the band away from fans and onto their tour bus...that's just ridicolous. It should completely be the band's priority if they want to stick around and chat with the fans. It's security's job to make sure no one gets hurt, and to get people out of the concert venue for the cleanup crew. But we did move out of the venue fairly quickly and obediently, and I don't think we were exactly a threat if you know what I mean?

Anywho yeah that was a great story about Hammerstein in august when we showed up without tickets, and we're about to give up (unwilling to pay 3000 percent premiums on tix) and then some security guy who actually kind of creeped us out beforehand totally hooked us up with 2 tickets. He's my friend now

That was way cool and it started a total resurgance of OLP in my life. So great!

since i was the one who started the Rob, 1, 2 and 3 thing I will tell you. the other Rob is ROCKINOLP on th eCC. I don't know if he comes here or not. He was the guy there with his friend and younger brother and dad. The one with the CC sticker. I think he lives out in Long Island also.

That is because if memory serves me right, you and G were talking up a storm with Raine. I had to stop you guys so I could take the photo. :lol:

it was AWESOME meeting everybody and the show wa sunbelievable!!!!!!!! oh my god, those girls were standing right behind me and they would not SHUT UP!!!! i was like "arrrggggghhhhhhh!!! im going ot slap these girls!!!" you guys only had to listen to thgem during SOT, i had to listen ot them for like, half the show! and my cousin wa slike "ewww, theyre so dirty!" and the next day, she had a rash on her arm and i was like "maybe its from her hair!" because she kept flipping her hair onto my cousins face/arms!!!!

question: do you think they mind when we are standing right infront of them and taking pictures?? because.....

Duncan wouldn't get upset if you took his picture. Besides they are too into their playing, but sometime it you are lucky they actually will pose(smile) while you take the photo. GOD I must have close to 150-200 photos of the guys from this tour. Now what I want to do with them. maybe I will make a photo album or something.
