oh, funny story! well..i found it funny.

so this car instructor was teaching this girl how to drive. she was nervous so they were just going on side roads...and he's like, okay..i think you're ready for the main roads now! so they headed toward the nearest main road, and as she was waiting at the intersection, he told her to watch out for the bicyclist because by the time she could go, he would be right beside her. so this girl was watching the bicyclist in her rvm, and as the bicyclist was going through the last street before reaching her, a van went through the stop sign and hit him..he went flying. the girl saw it and she was terrified...she was shaken up & didn't want to drive, so the instructor drove her home. know what the bicyclist did? he got hit and flew off the bike, but he got right back on and kept going. poor girl.

If they take you in a parking lot and somebody steps out into the road, don't slow down, stop. Even if they're like 50 feet ahead of you. I knew someone who failed because they (only) slowed down as the person (way off, mind you) crossed and then went back up to the speed limit after they were well across the road. Pretty much anything bad you do looks worse in a parking lot especially if it involves pedestrians, so be EXTRA careful if they take you to one.

Also, I agree with the person who said to exagerate looking in the mirrors. Don't be too goofy with it, but make sure the test person knows you're looking...a simple movement of your eyes doesn't always tell them this (at least from what I hear).

Probably showing up to the test sober would look good as well

OH! and when you're exiting the freeway, don't slow down until you're on the actual ramp.

oh, and when you're waiting for pedestrians to pass, wait until they've completely crossed the intersection before you start moving again

Always remember... if a stop sign has a white border, it's only optional to stop.

... My ex ACTUALLY told his sister this when she was going to take her test. AND SHE BELIEVED HIM. Oh man. So horrible. Thank god nobody got hurt.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!! I FAILED!!!!! :( :( I am sad.

Gah, that friggin examiner, i hate her frickin' face! She's in her 40's and she speaks like "what speed are you suppose to be going, man?", "what are you doing, man?", "look behind you, man!" gaaah!
She said I was being dangerous. Well, I did almost hit a pedestrian at a corsswalk >_>.. and when I pulled over, she said i was too far from the curb. At times, I was be going too slow (40 in a 50 zone) *sigh*

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Awwwww *hugs quietorloud* *wonders what his real name is*

Don't worry, it took me 3 goes to pass my test. I was perfectly capable every time according to my instructor, but it all becomes different when it's an examiner beside you and not your instructor.
