Take the trip. Experiences and trips you'll always have fond memories of to look back on. You can always get a good job in the future and be able to afford the surgery.

Lando......dude. I totally wanna crack! This sucks. I heard her favorite song this morning, and it totally didn't help. I should've gotten more sleep, too.

(He & Cass both know my issue. haha)

I don't have internet or cable at my house anymore until say, friday.
I've been wasting my evenings playing Oregon Trail.
No, I have not died of Cholera yet, bitch.

Yea but then you turn into one of thsoe blackberry carrying jerks who bitch and moan when you can't get service in the middle of a Tornado then blame it on you.

i met a nice guy with a blackberry once.. all he bitched about was the fact that the damn thing is literally worse than drugs and laughed and agreed with me when i said it was a "crackberry"... he also took 20 minutes to complete what normally is a 5 minute transaction because he kept getting emailed, called or texted on his crackberry

although i do believe what cass is referring to is actually a pcmcia wi/fi card that cell companies try to pass off as worthwhile when in reality theyre overly priced and any data transfer costs 5 billion dollars per mb.. the cheapest/easiest thing to do is to try and find an unsecure wifi connection and go nuts *nods*

My sister's-boyfriend worked with blackberry's at RIM all summer. They gave him two!
He doesn't seem too crack-addicted though.

No pictures, please

Yes that is what I am referring to. And it is worth it to me cause then I can work from anywhere! It's so awesome.

its easier/cheaper to find unsecure wifi connections and use that tho
hell, when my bro had his laptop in my folks place he usually connected to one of the neighbours wifi connections and not ours because it was "easier" for him to do so (his room is far from the router)
a lot of major cities are installing wifi connections through their downtown cores that one can log onto for a fee (in TO its like.. 6 bucks a day and most of these tend to have unlimited downloading/uploading while the ones cell companies offer tend to limit data)

on a completely unrelated note... i just went on a firefox addon downloading spree since i changed my background and changed the status bar to "hide" .. i couldnt see the clock.. it started with an addon for that.... now i have a new theme, a clock, the weather, control for winamp and some thing thats supposed to tell me the latest sports scores... oh and 2 other things i forget

regina has a free wifi connection all through downtown and on the university campus. so does saskatoon, i think.

oh, and lando, you still have to bring over your wii to see if i can get me some of that free wifi stuff. just thought i should publicly announce that.

Yes, but the point about the card is that you can work from anywhere. Here there are often not unsecured networks in places we need to work. It is actually worth the price we pay to have that ability.

Now for your average Joe that just wants to surf the net, then that is stupid.

haha yes.. for work purposes it'd be worth it, i'll give you that but in sarah's case.. i think its just a temporary set back (not having the net i mean) and in that case spending that much on a data card wouldnt be worth it (which is what i meant), if that makes sense..

Laurel's a bit more accurate with the uni area being included. I heard you can pick up the signal as far as the airport which means all throughout the Cathedral area too.

Kind of cool!
