i am so terrified of next year.
and this four days of school killed me.
however, i joined the yearbook club.
and i'm attempting to start up a school newspaper, cause i'm just that cool.

How does the yearbook work at your school. I'm curious. At ours, its a paid position. Three photographers, one journalist, one editor, one advertiser, and a designer. The designer is a full time staff position who's sole purpose is to put it together over the course of the year so it can be released before school ends.

honestly, this is my first year doing it because i was caught up in band before, along with other things that came along. ours is definately not a paid position, i can tell you that. i'm not sure how it's going to work. the teacher organizing it was talking about a workshop that she's going to send a few kids to (which the school pays for), so that they can pick up on what we'll be doing (and i guess they'll pass along the information to others). about 20 people came to the meeting, but i heard that pretty much everyone but 5 or 6 drop out as the year progresses. this should be interesting. i'm quite excited about it actually, and i'm looking forward to seeing how it'll turn out.
