She's a famous blogger and a really good friend of Matt's. She's also with him on this tour. Krista is also pretty big in the blogging world, and she's partied with Raymi in the past.

I still haven't received an explanation as to why fucking Matt Good played cafe campus. My roommate knows some scary trashy guy named Jeb whose scary trashy brother played there.

Because he's doing a solo acoustic tour (for which clubs are preferable to larger venues) and he's not following up a hit single, so he's not catering to everybody and their dog, it's basically a tour for his core fanbase (which is still pretty sizable). Plus he gets very little backing from his record company (see: no hit single) so a lot of the funding comes out of his pocket.

I see.... but man, so not classy! Although I suppose something like Le Swimming would have been too small.
