A social worker requires a university degree. They have a lot more responsibilty and are qualified to handle more cases that would be out of the league of a social service worker. Also, social workers are being hired by places before social service workers are hired because a lot of places prefer you to have a university degree. Also, they get paid more than a social service worker (personally i could care less about the pay as long as i can live off it).

A social service worker requires a college course. They aren't a certified social worker, but more so a social workers assistant. They have a lot less responsibility and aren't qualified (legally) to handle some cases. They also have a "severe pay cut" as opposed to the social worker.

I want to become a social worker, because I want to be a certfied social worker and gain the extra responsibility. Also, I want to be able to handle any case that comes my way without beginning to make progress then have to refer the person away because I'm no longer qualified.

Yeah, that'd be pretty neat.

I think my doctor is retarded. Seriously.

A month ago I was taken to the doctor for a painkiller addiction.
Today he prescribes me a bottle of motrin 800s. wtf?

I can't seem to moderate my body temperature. I'm going from hot to cold to hot to cold... it's either nerves or a terrible illness. :(

my neighbour seems to be having a few relationship issues. she's having a long, loud, seemingly emotional fight with someone over the phone for the second time this week
