An email you sent me like a year ago.
As well as the cheatsheet.

I would be surprised and actually kind of disappointed if I passed that exam. If my answers were enough to get a passing grade, something is wrong with the system.

Oh Robbo...how different we are
I failed my stats test. I don't know how this happened after I totally aced the first two and put in the same amount of effort. I know, my brain cells died!!

I gave up on this exam while studying for the weekend. It's only 10% of my mark, and I just plain didn't know the material.
Perspective's a bitch. Last year I would have (and nearly did) go insane over such a prospect!
Actually, my marks seem to reflect my interest in each course. The more I like the course, the better I'm doing in it.

Hm. I'm doing best in the most boring course I have. Then the worst are definitely boring. One I like but I really suck at it. So there you have it, I'm not cut out for college.

so i got into a car accident today. i somehow managed to rearend someone. i don't even know how i managed it. no damage at all to their car, but my front bumper's sorta icked up. and i don't think i'm injured, but my neck's pretty sore.
i'm pretty upset over it, though, cause it's my first accident ever.
but...i have a paper due in a class tomorrow. and i know i'm in no emotional state to be able to write anything, especially after having to work tonight. so, i asked for an extension, and the prof said she'd give me one. but i need proof...medical, police report, etc.
i don't have proof. it wasn't serious enough to require a call to the police. i don't think i'm injured. i'm just..in the most stressed out emotional state ever. i physically can not write...when i pick up my pen, i look at the notes i have, and i can't even comprehend anything. my mind just won't let me.
i wish doctors would give out 'emotional stress level too high to function' notes.

Go to doctor right afterwards and get it checked out just in case. Get insurance papers and such. Take pictures. Get phone numbers and witnesses. At least it wasn't a serious accident and at least you didn't play a crash test dummy

i'm going to the doctor tomorrow, just in case there is something wrong with my neck. i couldn't go today because i had to work right after my accident.
and...i dont' have insurance papers. there were no witnesses that stopped, because it wasn't a serious accident...
i'm just freaking out over this assignment, though. if i don't get some proof....i'm absolutely screwed. i wish that being overly sensitive and emotional about things like this were a good enough reason to get an extension.

Can't your doctor write a note? Saying that you were there too see him over a car crash incident?

no worries. it's not the end of the world, even if the assignment is docked some marks. doctor's note should work fine.

write the prof/TA an email or go see them and talk to them one on one and explain the situation. when it comes right down to it, they are people.
