A few years ago, I tried doing tons and tons of crunches to try to make my stomach flat. Instead, I just got muscle built up under the fat and it looked even worse.
See, I'd be perfectly happy with the stomach I have if the rest of me matched it. I'm one of those freaks who's skinny everywhere but with a pot belly. It makes me angry. I wanna be proportioned, darn it!!!!
Well, my plan is to get a treadmill and set it up in front of my computer, and do a lot more walking on it than running. I'd probably forget I was even walking that way and get a TON of exercise.Cass wrote:Looks like you're out of luck then Nikki. Running outside is not bad at all. Give it a try, it's so much more interesting than a treadmill.
I agree.Rusty wrote:Claire, you're so skinny though. *looks at pic* Yep definitley skinny.

It's true. Compared to how it used to be, it's horrible. Some of the pictures from the UCMMU make me cringe.Rusty wrote:nikki....pot belly...
Yep, pilates is great. My friend and I were supposed to take a class together but then they switched my shift at work and I can't anymore but she's lost 10 pds from it. I need a work out buddy. One Shot Juanita wrote:exercise regime pour moi:

Seriously,
Pilates, are amazing. I've been doing it everyday for about 6 months, give or take a few days, and I feel AWESOME. So much like, longer and more flexible not to mention its low impact and I'm more toned.
That's how it is for girls. It's all downhill after 18. EVERYTHING is horrible compared to how it used to be.Compared to how it used to be, it's horrible.
Oddly enough my SM cd only skips during the Do's in Life. It starts as soon as the first "do" starts and finishes exactly when they're over.joe_canadian wrote:Heh. I listened to Happiness at work today.
During the chorus of Annie, it started skipping at a fantastically high speed.
It was terrifying.
