I don't think she sounds like avril.
When Chantal was working with avril... if any of you listen to avril or have heard the songs they wrote together... you can tell the parts that chantal wrote the NANANAs and all those weird little sounds that Chantal makes.

Avril has a higher voice if you have actually heard her live... when people edit her voice for the record they make her voice sound deeper than what it actually is..

But i can see your point tho... IT could easily be mistaken, although chantals voice sounds a lot more mature than avrils.
But who knows.

But dont get me wrong... If someone sent me one of the songs and i didnt know it was Chantal (even though i know her voice) i could have thought it was hayley williams or Avril... although hayley and avril sound different.
ah im rambling sorry.

hhmm... even though her voice sounds a bit different (to me, more mature) on this CD, I would never have confused it with Avril.

and w00t - this tour is finally next month! I bought some of my tickets in June so it felt like November would never get here.

i dunno, for the most part she sounds like herself, but there's a few parts here and there where her voice itself sounds a lot like avril. i think, anyway...

Hey I am thinking I will have to sell my Chantal tickets for the Missisauge show. My wife won't be able to get the time off form her job and now Chantal is coming to Ottawa in Feb!

Any takers? 2 tickets, $45 each. Left Balcony Row A seat 317 and 316. Does anyone know how else I might be able to sell these tickets?

We have a whole group of Raine and Chantal fans for that night. But yay - you can see Chantal in Ottawa! Did you get tickets yet... they've been on sale for a few days.

I'll let you know if I hear of anyone looking for Mississauga Chantal tix. That's a sold out show. You could try the Chantal board to see if there are any takers, but I haven't seen anyone (yet) looking for tix. www.chantalonline.com/forums
