I've done almost nothing but squares since yesterday afternoon... OMG I can't believe how much I screwed up before I got anything resembling my original visions. 
And a lot of what I wanted to do, I couldn't.... so I kinda had to settle for things that were easier (I realized this after throwing 14 failed squares in the garbage
).
Here's a pic of the 5 I made:

all the sewing is by hand, so Sarah...please ignore the ugly sewing!
The Cdn tour square - I'm pretty proud of the X-stitching
The roadtrips one - the road, car and tree were all individually cut out from other fabric and sewn onto the blue square
The WOAS - it's kinda supposed to be a world on a string / time bomb sorta looking thingy
The next one was done with fabric paint
And the last one is just Sandy's Duncan iron-on with some random fabric paint accents

They are really good guys! Ahh I love it! I'm so impressed with the level to which some people took it. And now with the amount of sock references! haha.

You wern't around for the whole Gail New Findland bit, were you? Ahh those were some good times. Perhaps its a little masochistic of me but I sort of wish she would come back. Reading her comments always gave me a good reason to laugh.

It was funny cause I'm pretty sure she thought that "New Finland" was how it was actually spelt.
And I suppose you could visit... but it would be all kinds of boring!
There is really not much to see here besides the shitty weather. The place is a giant rock. Really not that interesting.
