Actually......I'm with you. The gamerscore idea is a neat ass way to get people to actually play their games more because they actually have something to try and achieve. I really think the whole achievements-factor is sweet. However, I'm not appreciative of the "Score a D" achievement in DOA. haha!Joe Cooler wrote: No, not yet but I will. BTW how are you liking the whole "gamerscore" idea. As it stands, I think it may well be one of the greatest features added to xbox live besides the Arcade.

Playstation 3 release date and launch titles revealed?Feb 8, 2006 @ 4:18 am · By Blake Hurley · Filed under Playstation 3 News
Thirty Playstation 3 games have been unveiled on retail outlet Gamestop’s website, along with pricing information and a potential launch date for the Playstation 3 console. The games are listed under pre-order for $59.95, with a ship date of October 1.

With no official word from Sony about a release date for the PS3 console or accompanying games, it appears that Gamestop has let slip some precious information.
If Gamestop’s information is correct, the games listed could well be the entire launch title selection for the PS3 and may indicate an October release date for the Playstation 3.
The games are:
Vision Gran Turismo
Killzone 2
Devil May Cry 4
MotorStorm
Warhawk
Fight Night Round 3
Formula 1
Heavenly Sword
I-8
Scarface: The World is Yours
Fifth Phantom Saga
Killing Day
NioH
Spider-Man 3
Tekken
The Getaway 3
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Dark Sector
Dirty Harry
Dog Tag
Eyedentify

Yeah man, I love the xbox live arcade. There is a demo of geometry wars on PG3, and I love it... and PG3.Goin' Down Fighting wrote:Actually......I'm with you. I can't wait until they get Street Fighter II and Texas Hold'um on the Live Arcade. I hear SF2 is due by the end of the month, and Texas Hold'um due by April. Freakin sweet!
A lot of people, I've noticed, play Geometry Wars......what the heck sorta game is that??? I'm too lazy to consider looking to see if theres a demo of it on the Live Arcade.Joe Cooler wrote: Yeah man, I love the xbox live arcade. There is a demo of geometry wars on PG3, and I love it... and PG3.
Too late......its freakin WHACK. And Revolution's stupid idea for a freakin controller is whack too. I don't wanna have to hold my freakin game console controller like I'm trying to change the flippin' channel on the TV remote. So stupid!! Thank you Microsoft, for rippin' off PS2.Chanandler Bong wrote:Hey, don't be so quick to diss the controller.
My guess is the Revolution will outsell the Gamecube by a longshot and become a huge hit. Not many people thought the DS was a great idea either. Secondly, the PS3 controller will most likely undergo a redesign as it was a no show at GDC. Lastly, Geometry Wars is an addictively simple game much like Robotron or say.. Smash TV. Just way, way better. Really it's all I play. That and GR: Advanced Warfighter.Go Down Fighting wrote:Too late......its freakin WHACK. I'm not one to defend any system particularly because I'll have them all, but I don't see how the PS3's controller is "WHACK" 360, kept the same controller, changed the black and white buttons to triggers and Sony's keeping the exact same controller, just making it more round and longer handles. It's still the exact same, just like XBOX. As for the Revolution controller, it will also have adapters to turn into classic controllers like the gamecube's, so that you can play older games normally. The fact that they're trying something new just adds a brand new aspect to gameplay.Go Down Fighting wrote:Too late......its freakin WHACK.
