No, but it HAPPENS. I saw it on TV.
Usually in incidents involving alcohol.

You can't ask for logic in matters involving booze, Lando.
Some guys probably got shitfaced and were like, "LET'S CLIMB THAT THERE THING." And the rest was history.

i'm afraid of spiders

i'm scared of the water
i float like a brick and i can't swim for shit
public speaking, performing, presenting something that isn't memorized
being on stage, playing music in front of people (it's extremely hard being in drama, music and guitar classes due to performances and playing tests), improv (you expect me to come up with something on the spur of the moment? are you crazy?)
people
i'm afraid of calling people, talking to people i don't know, and sometimes, people i do know, starting conversations, continuing conversations, i'm afraid of paying for things and talking to people in lines (renting a movie, ordering something at a fast food place)....basically just associating with people scares me shitless
talking out in class
not being able to breathe (properly)
job interviews
this is one of the main reasons i don't have a job yet, i'm too afraid of the interviews. alas, i may get a job without an interview at this one place....
i'm sure there are about a zillion things i've forgotten.

wow. that's got to be exhausting, all them phobias
i fear wasps. and bees. and hornets. basically any flying insect that stings or bites. in high school my friends and i would go sit in the park in the summer, and if there was a wasp or bee around i'd eye it constantly. i'd try to remain cool but i'd freak out when it came near me. all my friends thought it was hilarious. oh how they laughed. thought it it was real funny.
