^ I watched a show, and they talked about it. Something about the idea that the ripple of the flag is from the force when they jabbed it into the ground. o_O

Possible, I guess.

But does anyone else find it odd that man has never set foot on the moon since?

Why not do it - if for nothing else than to just crush the conspiracy theories?

Hey, I'm not saying I believe it! I'm on your side with this one.

but if theres no air on the moon, how can the dust float around? it would just fall back down cause of gravity, there fore the footprints could be made without moisture

He's right. The moon has gravity. It also has an atmosphere, just not as strong as earth's. Dust could very well exist on the moon, and because of the lack of wind and such, the footprints would stay there almost permanently. So, if you wanna know if the first moon landing was for real, you've just gotta go there. The footprints and flag will still be there. :P

Also, here's an article about the flag waving:
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/scitech/ ... 30716.html

And, we have been to the moon again. Six Apollo missions have landed there. Just not recently.

Now, stop being skeptics, it's rude to the astronauts.

the flag was in motion because of the way they jammed it into the ground!? that guy in the picture isn't even touching the flag!! he's barely close to it. that's rediculous....

but i have another question.
if you were on the moon, what is one of the first things you would think of taking a picture of?

Myself.

I'd be like, "Yo, WHOOOOOOOO!!! I RUUUULLLLEEEE!!!!! Wheeheeheeheee!!! \m/ "

*shrug*

if i got to the moon, i'd be scared to come back to earth again just because i wouldn't really feel like going back through that radiation layer so fast...just doesn't sound like fun to me!! but if i did get there, i would want to take a picture of the EARTH.....and i think they would too...so why are there no pictures of the earth from the moon? all they got are pictures of each other dancing around and soluting the flying flag and stuff...but that's it. there are pictures of the earth from space, but none from the moon.

and also, they've purposly faked 'moon missions' in deserts in the states, and they look exactly the same as the 'real thing'. and the way that they move, if you speed it up to double speed, they look like they're walking perfectly normally. did you see the 'moon rock' with a 'C' on it?

besides, if they really did get to the moon, i think they would be able to prove it and put an end to the skepticism by now.

without wind and a strong gravitatinal force the flag could very well hold a shape for a long period of time.

Also the whole needing moisture to make a foot print thing is completly and utterly wrong.

Also the as said before the moon does have an atmosphere, and air is not essectial to floatation of objects.

....does no one take science anymore?

Are you fucking stupid? They faked the moon missions in the desert as training. Image
Oh look, there is the Earth. And is that the moon? They took a picture of the Earth from the moon! :GASP: Holy shit, that has to be fake  There will be a giant crane coming by later to remove your head from your ass.

That site was pointless. Not only did the "facts" not prove anything, but it's run by some people trying to make MONEY off of a movie they made. Try going to the links I gave. They're not run by greedy, cynical people.

(Oh, and the whole "C on the rock" thing... looks like a hair or scratch on the photograph to me. :P)

no, i'm not, are you? they (not nasa) faked the moon missions to show how easy it would be to fake. i'm not talking about the same ones you are, i know they said they did other ones for training.
you're so rude. you can believe what you want, i don't care. at least i don't swear at people and insult them when i tell them what i believe.

and as for the picture, where did you get it from?

depending on where they landed they might not have been able to see the earth even, think about it they can't just look up and see it they have to look down, but apparently seeing the picture that nikki posted they did take a picture of the earth, its pretty obvious they did land on the moon to me anyway

Matt posted that... nobody seems to have gone to the links I posted. I love it when I spend my time finding things to post and everyone ignores my existance. :uh:

don't worry people are ignoring common sence, science, and fact as well, so at least your being ignored in good company

just wondering but how come no one has gotten pictures of the moonlander from earth, or the flag, or the foot prints?

The moon's orbit keeps the same surface facing the earth, so the landing site is most likely "around the corner" so to speak.
