Well I don't like a ton of smelly things, but I like lotion and stuff, cause I let it run out and then I need it. Sigh, the only person who can buy me stuff is my mom. Gift cards=good idea. Go with it. My best friend just tells me what she wants every holiday. That's always an easy way to go.

I always get candles and never use them. I absolutely love getting CDs.. probably my favourite gift.

i love socks
i have a drawer full of just socks ..
rainbow socks, toe socks, funky tie dye socks, socks with little people that have mohawks .. i love socks!

that's got to be the best gift someone could give me. funky socks are so much fun, i have 5 pairs of socks alone that have monkeys on them. And rainbow socks are cool too.

Gift certificates are THE biggest fraud ever invented. You give a company money in return for nothing, which at some point but not necessarily may turn into a product, but is more likely to not all get spent or just get lost and not used, and too late sucker, they already have your money!!
What a swindle.

I would rather give someone something other than a gift card, so that way they have no idea how much you spent on them.
I would go with cool socks too.
