#1 because of the possibility of Saddam selling them to Al Qaeda

#2 Saddam using them against is neighbors again! Leaving Saddam with those weapons would be like letting Gary Ridgeway loose in a city of a million prostitutes......not good combinations

I don't think North Korea would use them unless provoked. Nuking South Korea would not only ruin most of that country but if the wind was right would potentially harm Kim Jong himself. He wants control of South Korea not to nuke it.

North Korea selling them is a big fear. I obviously don't know for sure but I think our intelligence in that country is really good. We always seem to know what they are up too. In my opinion we are watching closly to make sure that they don't sell them. Like Corey said they will be dealt with. Unless it gets way out of hand the US doesn't have the resources to fight them right now. They have a HUGE military. The people starve in part because all the countries money goes to keeping the strength of the military in tact.

Exactly, so the threat is imminent. They may not want to use a weapon against South Korea, but they certainly wouldn't mind giving it a try in Japan.

For a country that is supposed to be the most powerful in the world, shouldn't they be able to hands down beat any army thrown at them? If they're so worried about the threat of nuclear weapons they should look at where the most serious threat is.

The fact is there were alternative reasons for his war against Iraq. There are far more countries in Africa which have larger problems with human rights issues than Iraq had. Look at countries like the Congo, and Uganda where slaughters are occuring daily, and even little children are being given guns to fight.
