No but they have been in violation of UN resolutions for a decade. There was a REASON. There would be NO reason for Iraq to attack Israel. What was Israel doing to danger Iraq or the rest of the world?? I thought maybe you were smart enough to know why the war occured and that Israel had done nothing to justify an attack by Iraq, but I guess I have to spell everything out for you from now on.

He promised food and healthcare to the Iraqi people. But since 1991's sanctions, over one million Iraqi civilians have died as a direct result of the American Led UN Resolution 1441. Over 500,000 of those were children.

George Bush Junior announced that immediately after Iraq is taken over, it will be controlled by General Tommy Franks as a military dictatorship. Leaked documents have exposed details on the martial law that will be imposed.

I always get a kick out of the fact that people say it was the "US sanctions" when in reality it was UN sanctions. All the countries of the UN voted on the sanctions and they passed by a HUGE margin!!

Where is this martial law that hes taking about??? There isn't and never was martial law in Iraq after the war. Where is this guy getting this BS?

A crime?? How was it a crime? There was a UN resolution that was not unheld. Who was the real criminal here? Saddam maybe? He could have avoided all of this by either cooperating with the UN or stepping down from power. He chose to do neither.

Yet George Bush Junior has the audacity to call the UN "ineffective." If by ineffective he means "doing everything they can to support peace at the will of over 170 nations," then yes, I'd have to agree.

Since when is allowing a dictator who kills his own people on a daily basis to remain in power peace? The Iraqis will have peace as a result of this action. Maybe not tomorrow or next month but they will have peace. The UN is supposed to help people in need. The Iraqi's were in need of a new leader and the US has rid them of their old, tyranical one.
