saying you know music theory is saying that you take classes and study the way the music is written and performed.
you on the other hand just decided what music you like and decide everything else is shit that is not theory that is just being a dick.

oh okay, so you don't actually take music theory. which basically means you probably looked it up a couple of times on the internet, therfore you 'study' music theory and can tell me that you can judge music better than i can. right.

see but the thing is you don't need to study how to be a good parent... just like you don't need to study on what is good music. If you like the music then it is good. If you dislike the music it is bad. One person's junk is another person's treasure.
You could read a bunch of books on how to build a nuclear bomb. It doesn't make you an expert about it. I could read a million books about being a dog but yet I still cannot be a dog...

yea but if you study the theory behind music and everything ,you appreciate the music ten times more. and it helps you to look at all the angles of music, not just "how it sounds"

Still, what makes for "good" is in the eye of the beholder, whether you can name the time signature or just like the beat.
