ok, i'll explain.
lizard breath's father (my brother for those of you keeping score) had a goat, named chivo. (cruel joke) well anyway, LB, had this basketball that she loved so damn much. seriously, she played with it everyday.
well one day her evil uncle maliki (another brother if your keeping score no not his real name he said he'd sue if i used it) and his evil band of mischivious friends were playing basketball and their ball got flat. maliki quickly jumped to an easy solution "my niece has a ball, she rarely uses it, i'll just borrow it for a while, until we get another one!" so off he went, to look for this basketball that was necessary for his evil plots and games. sure enough he found it and away he went.
LB, came home from school one day and looked high and low for her basketball. but it was not to be found. she asked everyone in sight..."where's my ball? where could it be?" but no one knew. she even asked chivo the goat, but chivo only pooped his raisin sized pellets and walked away. then she asked her evil uncle maliki...."maliki, have you seen my ball?"
affraid that the jig might have been up and that maybe someone ratted him out he quickly found a scape goat...literally. he knelt down to his little niece, put his hand on her shoulder, with tears in his eyes he simply said....."the goat ate it."
confused, enraged, heartbroken, Lizard Breath shook her fist and with fire in her 5 year old eyes she said "Man! I hate the Goat!"
so much rage, in such a young child.
the ball in question is very much intack today. in fact the story has made the rounds and the ball, thought to have been eaten by the goat, has the word "GOAT" written on it. it has since been dubbed "the GOAT ball". we've only recently let Lizard Breath in on the story.
Chivo's name has been cleared of any wrong doing, and can now rest in Peace.
