you may.

so far i see:

laws? yes, both support laws.
taxes? yes, both support taxes.
war? yes, both support war.

ummm... differences?

Democrats: worry about everyone.
Republicans: worry about themselves.

In a nutshell.

Just because laws, taxes, and war are the only issues you're interested in, doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. There are differences between the parties whether or not you feel those differences are important.

just trying to point out that the fundamentals of each ideology are identical.

But you see, "fundamental" is a subjective notion. Those might be the issues that are important you personally, but many people feel differently. I'm not saying you're wrong about the things you stated, just that others don't attach the importance to those issues that you do.

well, i mean, the difference in democratic politics versus republican politics are things like what kind of laws they pass, how much they tax and whom, and which wars they fight.

but the basic principles remain the same.

does everyone not include the thousands of innocents the democrat clinton bombed to smithereens?

politicians: care about themselves. force you to do it too.

ugh. correcting my egregious grammar mistake.

I disagreed with Clinton's actions, just as I disagreed with Bush's in Iraq.

so you can't say you categorically agree with all democrats then?

I don't like Bush because, according to a newspaper article I have since lost, "he feels he is the ONLY person who can save the world from Hussein." (of course paraphrasing, but that's the jist of it.)

That scares me.

Oh, and he's also one of the biggest idiots I've ever seen. And I wait tables for a living.

Finally... people with the typical "Bush is an idiot" riposte.

Bush is the first president ever with an MBA and from Harvard I might add. We'll see how many of you receive degrees from Harvard.

The man turned $20,000 of his own money into millions. Again, we'll see how many of you can do the same. Sure, the man is stupid.... like a fox.

"Rarely do we ask: Is our children learning?"

At least I have a better grasp of grammar than he ever will.

And going to war for no reason? Stupid.

Corey, he only got into Harvard because his daddy was the president.
He passed with C's. Sounds like a head-of-the-class student!

Bush: They misunderestimated me.
We sure did!

Bush went to Harvard for the same reason he got into Yale because of his father and grandfather he got rejected at the University of Texas at Austin and I personaly would think if you can't get into the university of Texas you probably can't get into Harvard. He was also convicted of drunk driving if you want to bring up his past.

On the issues, the main problem I have with Bush like most government officails is that they promise tax cuts to get elected because that is what americans like to hear, when the government really needs that money to clean up the problems in america... the american public gets mad when they see the government spending their hard earned tax dollars over seas and not in this country

Also Bush is trying to erase the line of church and state and get rid of abortion and gays, which most of the southern america likes... aka the bible belt

how he got in has nothing to do with finishing.
Again, let's see you get your Harvard MBA.. then you can talk.

i'm sorry but you need money to go to Harvard. I'm better there are millions of people who could get their masters at Harvard, they just cannot afford it.

so any idiot could get one there?
