did some partying this morning, time to do some more tonight

I'm so happy that Vancouver got them. I was hoping so much for Toronto last time, but that failed miserably.

Great news for all the Canadians. I've been waiting for a while to have the Olympic Games in Canada. Back in 1988 , when Calgary was hosting the Olympics, I was only 5, so I don't remember much of it. But in 2010, I'll be 27 and I will go to Vancouver to support all the Canadians athletes and I can't wait to see Canadian Hockey Team wins gold. GO CANADA GO!!!

I like watching the winter Olympics.

Well for two weeks your country has the spotlight. It's not something that happens often for most countries.

I think the thing is that the USA has been getting olympics almost routinely for the past 20 years so it's no big deal to Americans. In a sense they've been spoiled.
I think for the majority of Canadians this announcement is exciting and it's something that can leave a type of legacy, just as Calgary did in 88.

the only good thing about this, as far as i'm concerned, is that i might actually get to go to some of the games.

other then that, who cares? for all we know by 2010 we may be living on planet USA anyways.
