can't suck, for it to suck there'd have to be some sort of viable alternative, which there isn't, or it would have to have some definable qualities in and of itself that suck, which it doesn't (only things in it that suck when compared to other things in it). Don't make me quote Voltaire people

There is one alternative
state, but there's no way of determining if it is in fact
comparable to this one, and once you take it there's no way of going "Hmm, this isn't a hoot and a hollar after all, I'd like to go back please."
So it is in fact not an actual
alternative
