Alright, so for Seattle, do you all just want to get a hotel with two beds and share a room? I call the floor! Or the bathtub. It'd definitely be cheaper, I really can't afford to pay all that much.

I'm definitely willing to help pay for a room, the more people we can pack in the better, I too can't afford to pay for an entire room for myself.

Plus I can bring some special OLP stuff to listen to after the show, back at the hotel. ;)

I just ordered my tickets for Portland and Seattle from the presale website. After service charges, Portland's was $22.50 and Seattle's was $26.50 US.

:D

So far, I have my mother agreeing to buy me a ticket to go down to Seattle with a friend of mine and stay in a hostel. Now to either convince the friend to go, or convince my mom to let me go alone. After that, I have to attempt to convince her to let me go to Portland, probably alone. Should be interesting...

So far if all doesn't work out, I will at least convince my mom to let me go to Seattle with my friend Mel. Then I'll go over to Mel's house at the start of the weekend, and take a greyhound to Portland. I'll do everything as planned, but have my friend Mel drive down to Seattle to meet me on Sunday. She will come with us to that show, and will drive me home. Should work... I think.

As far as booking tickets goes... well I'll have to figure that out, since it'll use credit card. Ideally my mom will let me go. She's pretty leniant. Last year she let me go down to California for a week on my own to meet some friends I met online. She met some family of theirs in Vancouver, so that she wasn't so worried. Then the following summer, I stayed with them at their home in arizona for a month and a half. She also knew that I used a friend's ID to get into an OLP concert. So this shouldn't be too hard...

I may end up only going to Seattle, though.

Yo Sooz, come to Portland and Seattle!

If it was 2 months earlier I would have been there! But I think 3 trips to Seattle in one year might be a little too much. It was bad enough when I went into Canada last time and the guy at the border checked my passport and said "so you come here a lot, eh?"

I went to Portland once. There was a very long train and a building that looked like St Paul's Cathedral. That's all I can remember.

The person I went and saw them with once in high school and now lives in Portland seems to have read the message I sent her about the show, but didn't reply. :(
