Jim has a taste for all things plain rock.
Nickelback, Switchfoot, 3DD, Alterbridge, Creed (RIP), and also a taste for better music like Our Lady Peace and Head Automatica. I think he's just trying to see what else is out there, and is still expanding his musical horizons. Why not try to help him than just yell at him all the time? Jim's really not a bad guy. Just a little egotistical at times. Tell him like it is, he prefers honesty.

i saw Kings of Leon on Sunday night. They were boring and only played for just over an hour which wasn't much considering how much I paid for the ticket

I'm thinking it's a good thing though. Cos it would be exactly a year after we had the car accident on the way back from the White Stripes and all kinds of bad things ended up happening becuase of that (well they would have happened anyway, but it's still all associated in my head) - so I'll be quite happy to stay home that evening
