it's a bunch of beer league guys who said they'll play for peanuts (literally). Word has it the salt content of the peanuts may be capped as rising inflation and picking costs could cause financial termoil in some of the small market centres. We'll see what happens though.

i got confirmation on 680 news, NHL players are working on an offer to send to Bettman.

I just read that Ted Saskin and "three high profile NHL players" are taking the proposal to New York for review by the NHL. Apparently the offer is a $46 mil hard cap with a 100% luxury tax, and if at any point there are 8 or more teams spending $46 mil or more, the cap drops to $42 mil with fines for going over.

okay, a few of my friends called to tell me that a CBA has been reached. have you guys heard this or are they messing with me?
