Heh .. I was watching American Pie 2 and my mom walked in during the line "Dude, your girl has some guy's dick in her mouth right now" and she's like "I really didn't need to hear that" and walked out

Axtech wrote:Highschool teachers in my district are begining "Phase One" of their strike.
They're pissed off because they're earning squat compared to private school teachers and because they're being forced to do a bunch of extra work (between classes, before and after school hours, etc [kind of like
homework!

]).
So, Phase One has begun. They are now arriving to the school at 8:15am (school starts at 8:30) and leaving at 3:00pm (school ends at 2:45). They have stopped doing any extra planning/marking outside of school hours. Oh, and all after-school activities (sports, etc) are being cancelled while the strike is on.
This is aimed to piss off students who are going to miss out on the extras that they would usually get (such as sports and geting marked stuff back withing a reasonable time period), who will then go home and complain to their parents, who then might take the initiative to complain to the school, which gives the teachers support in the strike.
It's not a bad plan. But I'm still wating for them to get to the phase where I don't have to go to school.

hey they might have a case, depending if that stuff is on their job description. one of my old teachers won a federal landmark case, something to do about contracts and job descriptions.
in other news, um.....i'm going to look for a job tomorrow.

Almost .. it was 3 pairs for $15 but I decided just on the one pair for now since I have a huge collection of socks and I really didn't need another 3 pairs .. these ones were cool though so I had to have them

socks are cool, sometimes. the thing about them is that i always lose one in the wash, and it pisses me off.
