They aren't!
His left eye (on your right) has a red-eye effect, so it's just harder to see. He's actually looking to his right (your left).

i think it has something to do with the fact that there were two people taking two pictures at the exact same time. thanks so so so much for posting the picture

Steverrr has the same problems with red eye that I do... we both get it in nearly every. Single. Picture. EVER. 
I thought people with light eyes were the ones who were supposed to get red eye a lot? Not dark eyes.

Whoa - you have dark eyes and you get red eye issues? Insane. I get so frustrated when I'm editing my photos because my friends never have the red eye, but with my lovely light blue eyes every single photo I have to eliminate my devilish-lookingness. well, I don't remember falsettos, but during Starseed (I think), Raine smashed himself in the face with the mike and looked REALLY pissed. The one and only picture we got that includes Jonny! (I think.)
It was almost completely black cept for the Fran's signs behind us, so I brightened it up a bit... we're all shiny and scary (and to prove my red eye point, my eyes are GLOWING even though there was no flash!), but that's ok! It's cute anyway!
